You might know empty tomb, inc. because we take used clothing and
share it free in Jesus’ name. There are several other works to
help people in Champaign County that are also done through empty tomb.
Not as many people know that empty tomb is also known nationally
for its church giving research. Media such as CNN,
BusinessWeek, USA Today and others call empty tomb for information on church
giving.
This research tracks giving patterns across decades. And a disturbing
trend has appeared. Many congregations seem to be turning inward,
focusing on current
members,
rather than the world that is hurting so much for Jesus’ love to be
shown in word and deed. Mission Match was designed over years as a way to
help the
church to love a hurting world in Jesus’ name. Mission Match, and empty
tomb, are based in Champaign County, Illinois. Founded in May 1970, empty
tomb is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit, religious organization.
